ECICS Home Contents Insurance protects against insured perils such as fire, lightning, storm, flood, burst pipes, impact from vehicles or aircraft, riot, malicious damage, and burglary. In addition to covering your home contents, the policy also includes worldwide personal liability for you and your household members. The compulsory HDB fire insurance covers only the building structure, fixtures and fittings provided by HDB or its approved developers. It does not cover home contents such as furniture, renovations and personal belongings.
