Inform ECICS immediately and we will endorse your policy. Coverage for the new vehicle will commence after a 14-day waiting period from the date of notification.

How much sum insured should I buy?

You do not need to choose a sum insured that is equivalent to your excess amount. There is no limit on the number of claims as long as the total claim does not exceed your chosen sum insured per policy year. However, if your chosen sum insured is lower than the excess imposed on your motor insurance policy, ECICS will only pay up to the sum insured during the period of insurance.

No, you can purchase ECICS Motor Excess Protector Insurance Policy any time. However, do note that there is a 14-day waiting period from the commencement date of policy. Coverage will only start after the 14-day waiting period.
