How to Make a Claim

Please notify our Claims Department within 21 days of the incident that gives rise to a claim.

Our claims team will review and get in touch if clarification or further documentation is needed.

What to Prepare

To help us assess your claim, please prepare the following documents (where applicable):
Copy of the helper’s Work Permit
Completed ECICS Maid Insurance Claim Form
Original medical bills and invoices
Medical Certificate / In-patient Discharge Summary
(If company-owned vehicle)
Medical report
(if applicable)
Evidence of salary payments or levy
(e.g., bank statements, MOM levy printout)
Police report or death certificate
(for serious cases)
Additional documents

What is the difference between Outpatient Medical Expenses (For Accident) and Hospital & Surgical Expenses?

• Outpatient Medical Expenses (For Accident) cover medical bills for outpatient treatments that arise solely from Accident. For example, your FDW accidentally scalds her hand while cooking and requires dressing for the burn.• Hospital & Surgical Expenses cover inpatient medical bills for treatments related to both accidents and illnesses.

Why is the policy not exactly 12 or 24 months?

The coverage period for our Enhanced MaidAssure is 14 months or 26 months with the additional 2 months included as mandated by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in case the FDW overstays in Singapore after her work permit expires.

Can I make amendments to the policy after I’ve purchased the insurance?

Certain amendments (e.g., typo error in name or passport number or change in effective date) can be made before the policy effective date. However, a re-transmission to MOM may be required depending on the type of amendment.

Is there any coverage for Outpatient Medical Expenses (For Illness)?

Yes, we offer it as an optional add-on that covers outpatient medical expenses for illness that does not require hospitalisation. This benefit can cover up to $60 per visit, helping to ensure your FDW’s health needs are taken care of without added financial strain.

My FDW’s age is 61 years old, can I still renew her policy?

The eligibility criteria states that the insured FDW must be between 23 and 60 years old at the time of application. This means that individuals outside of this age range may not qualify for coverage under the insurance policy.
