We get it – plans can change. If you are replacing your FDW after purchasing the policy:a. Prior to policy effective date, you may provide us with the new FDW details. We will make the necessary changes on the policy replacement. The promo can be re-applied to the replacement policy but please note that the promo can only be re-applied on a replacement policy once if the original policy has not started. b. If the policy has started and you need to replace your FDW, you have 90 days from policy effective date to cancel and a further 90 days to issue a replacement policy. You will get 100% refund for the original policy but unfortunately, the promo cannot be re-applied to the replacement policy. If you no longer require an FDW, you may get a 100% refund if you cancel before the policy incepts. Please take note that all cancellation date shall be based on the security bond discharge date from MOM and not the work permit cancellation date.
No, each ECICS Motor Excess Protector Insurance Policy is meant to cover 1 vehicle at any one point in time. At the point of policy inception, you need to declare your vehicle registration number.
No. The Security Bond is included in our Enhanced MaidAssure along with MOM’s minimum medical and personal accident insurance as a package. We do not offer just the Security Bond.
The eligibility criteria states that the insured FDW must be between 23 and 60 years old at the time of application. This means that individuals outside of this age range may not qualify for coverage under the insurance policy.
A Security Bond is a commitment to reimburse the government if either you or your FDW violates or fail to adhere to the terms and conditions of the work permit. This bond typically takes the form of a banker's or insurer's guarantee. For each FDW you employ (excluding Malaysian helpers), you are required to purchase a $5,000 security bond.

MOM will issue the discharge letter 1 week after the FDW has left Singapore. ECICS will be transmitting the details of your Private Car Policy to LTA upon successful enrolment within 3 business days. Please contact our mainline if you require support to urgently submit to LTA for online road tax renewals. Alternative, you can proceed to LTA office with the Certificate of Insurance to physically renewal your road tax at LTA office. Our mainline number is +65 6206 5588 (Mon - Fri excluding Public Holiday, 8:30am - 6:00pm).
All earned Family-NCD will be reduced according to the GIA NCD framework (https://gia.org.sg/). However, with the Family NCD benefit still in place, it means all the Family NCD members can continue to earn 10% with each year of safe driving (max at 50%).
